This National Science Week, join the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC) Deputy Director Professor Lezanne Ooi, comedian Jaimeson Gilders and educator Joel Gilmore as they navigate a fantasy world inspired by one of the most complex systems we know: the brain. for an exciting evening of Dungeons & Dragons-inspired storytelling, live music and a journey into the brain! Monsters & Molecules: Journey to the Centre of the Brain is a live, improvised comedy show where cutting-edge research meets roleplay.
Hosted by science communicator and dungeon master Shu Ezackial, the night will feature live music from Melbourne bard, Sean Sully. This project received grant funding from Inspiring Australia Queensland, an Australian Government initiative, and is supported by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC).
Doors open: 6.30pm
Show starts: 7:00pm
180 minute runtime including intermission.
